The pneumatic angle seat valve is a pneumatic valve with a piston and a spring pushing device. The piston and spring pushing device provide linear movement to seal the seal or leave its seat, thereby controlling the opening and closing of the valve body pipeline. The valve seat is generally set at an angle to provide maximum flow when the seal leaves the valve seat.

Work principle

The pneumatic angle seat valve is operated by the pilot medium air under pressure.

The valve is equipped with a pneumatic actuator provided by a three-way solenoid valve. The pressured pilot air enters the actuator cylinder and acts on the piston, allowing the seal to open or close the valve body pipe through the valve stem. The return of the seal to its rest position is usually achieved by a return spring (single acting) or pilot air (double acting) in a pneumatic actuator.

When the valve is in the open position, a red indicator is visible through the sighting hood on the top of the actuator.

The pressure range depends on the pressure of the pilot and controlled media and the direction of flow. It also depends on the structural parameters of the valve, such as the diameter of the hole, the diameter of the actuator cylinder, and the spring force.

Structure

The main body of the product, the guide rod and other main parts are made of high-quality cast stainless steel, which has very good rust resistance.

The sealing material is usually polytetrafluoroethylene. It can be used for most gas, liquid, steam and corrosive occasions. It is equipped with a radiator to protect the actuator. Ensure that the angle seat valve has a long working life.

Installation & Maintenance

Must comply with applicable safety regulations

1. The pipes must be clean and free from contamination.

2. Install as needed, but preferably with the actuator facing up. Pay attention to the flow direction.

3. Connect the valve to the pipeline, and remove the actuator only when the user requires it.

4. Shut off fluid and control air supply and reduce pressure in the piping system before opening or servicing this angle valve.

Note:

Features of the flow direction A:

1. When the flow direction is selected, the service life of the product can be improved.

2. When the working medium is liquid, choose this flow direction to prevent water hammer impact.

3. For products with a diameter of Φ15 / Φ20 / Φ25, the working pressure must be below 0.3MPa, otherwise a double-acting actuator must be selected.

For products with a diameter of Φ32 / Φ40, the actuator must choose a double-acting Φ100 size.

For products with a diameter of Φ50, the actuator must choose a double-acting Φ125 size.

Features of the flow direction B:

When the working medium is steam or gas, when the flow direction is selected, the flow tightness of the product can be improved.
